Tabatha operating manual · revision 1.3.2

The manual

Seven panels. Panel 1 is the important one.

1

Press Alt + Q

Tabatha shows every open tab with a preview. You can let go of the keys; it stays open.

That is the whole product. The rest of this manual is optional, like most manuals.

2

Move

Arrow keys or the mouse pick a tab. Enter opens it. Esc, or a click outside, leaves.

Your last tab comes first, so Alt + Q then Enter flips straight back.

4

Bring tabs back

Recently closed tabs and windows sit under the open ones. Enter reopens them where you are.

Seven days of second chances. More than most things offer.

5

Many windows

Every window’s tabs in one view. Alt + W, or the chips at the top, show one window at a time.

Each card says which window it lives in. No more window archaeology.

6

Tab groups

Turn on tab groups from the switcher’s footer. Groups become sections. Close a group, or its window, and Tabatha keeps it until you remove it.

Your groups, preserved like a very organised fossil.

7

Capture all previews

Chrome only lets extensions photograph the tab on screen. The footer button flips through your tabs for a few seconds, then puts you back.

A tab you have never looked at has no preview. This is Chrome’s rule, not a mood.
